The Erasmus project is dedicated to strengthening the digital skills of teachers and students while promoting social interaction in the school community. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of using modern technologies effectively in education. Many teachers had to quickly switch to online teaching and were faced with the challenge of maintaining students' motivation and concentration. This project responds to these new requirements and offers innovative solutions to support the digital transformation in education.
The main objective of the project is to improve teachers’ skills in using information and communication technologies (ICT). Through training in modern teaching methods such as Future Classroom Lab and the Flipped Classroom concept Teachers should be able to make better use of digital tools to make lessons more varied and interactive.
The specific goals of the project are:
The project is aimed at several important target groups:
The project is intended not only to enable short-term improvements in teaching, but also to achieve sustainable, long-term effects:
The collaboration with partner schools from different European countries enables a valuable international exchange of experiences and best practices. The transnational partnership offers the opportunity to compare different teaching and learning methods, to develop innovative approaches and to learn from each other. This not only strengthens the skills of the teachers, but also contributes to cultural understanding and the promotion of an inclusive school community.
With the increasing use of digital technologies in education, new challenges arise alongside many advantages, particularly with regard to the psychosocial development of students. The project responds to these challenges by raising awareness of the responsible use of digital tools while promoting students' social skills. Teachers are supported through training to further develop their digital skills and integrate innovative methods into their lessons. The project thus makes an important contribution to improving the quality of teaching and creating an inclusive, digital school culture.
Although the project is officially completed, the materials and resources developed are still actively used. The partner schools plan to continue the collaboration and incorporate the results into future projects. About the eTwinning platform as well as the project website the developed content remains accessible and will continue to be disseminated. Regular online meetings, training sessions and information events are planned to ensure the sustainable success of the project and to continue the exchange between schools.
